Harju County Court has sentenced a Tallinn woman to 20 years in prison for the aggravated murder of her newborn daughter, reported ERR News.

The 26-year-old mother repeatedly caused bodily harm to the child, less than a month old at the time. The death occurred last May.
The woman also had two older children, then aged two and three years old, whom she also physically abused.
The woman was intoxicated when police arrested her at her home on the day that her child died.
Custody of two older children was given to their grandmother.
