Estonia's Pro Kapital Grupp concludes agreement on cinema in new shopping mall

The listed Estonian real estate developer Pro Kapital Grupp has agreements in place for 11,400 square meters of the 12,000 square meter entertainment center on the fourth floor of a new shopping mall it is developing on Peterburi Road in Tallinn, including an agreement with a new cinema operator entering the Estonian market.

Under existing agreements the fourth floor will accommodate a seven-screen cinema, a unique entertainment and leisure center and several restaurants, the company said in a statement.

Agreements have been concluded with the operator of the cinema and the entertainment center, Pro Kapital Grupp board member Allan Remmelkoor said. The operator of the seven-screen cinema is a new player expanding to the Estonian market, he said.

In his words, the entertainment and leisure center will offer attractions to kids, youths and adults, combining entertainment and educational activities with opportunities for different events and venues for holding birthday parties. In addition many different restaurants will be located on the entertainment floor with the majority of which rental agreements have already been signed.

AS Tallinna Moekombinaat, a holding of Pro Kapital Grupp, is developing a shopping mall with a total area of 130,400 square meters at the intersection of the Peterburi, Tartu, Järvevana and Suur-Sõjamae roads near the Tallinn airport. The anchor tenant of the shopping center is a Selver hypermarket that will occupy an area of 6,000 square meters. The total rentable area is 55,000 square meters.
