Estonian citizen caught with 210 kg khat narcotics

The Norwegian police have arrested an Estonian citizen whose car's luggage compartment unveiled at least 210 kilograms of narcotic khat branches, the news agency NTB reports.

The 22-year-old Estonian citizen who was driving a car with Swedish registration plates told the police that the object was to take the narcotics to a gas station near Oslo.

According to data from the Norwegian customs administration 6.5 tons of khati have been detained in the first six months of 2013 which is 50 percent more than in the same period last year.
