The new Estonian airline Nordic Aviation will in cooperation with Adria Airways launch seasonal direct flights to Nice, France and Split, Croatia next summer.

The carrier will be flying to Nice on Saturdays from April 16 to Oct. 29 and on Tuesdays and Saturdays from June 21 to Aug. 30. Flights to Split will take place on Sundays from April 17 to Oct. 23 and twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Sundays, from June 22 to Aug. 31, Nordic Aviation said.

The state-owned airline announced at the end of November it would stop flying from Tallinn to Copenhagen and considerably reduce the number of flights to Stockholm.

Nordic Aviation Group offers flights to Amsterdam, Brussels, Stockholm, Oslo, Kiev, Trondheim and Vilnius to which seasonal destinations are added. The airline started operations on Nov. 8 following the European Commission's negative decision on state aid provided to Estonian Air.
