The media company Postimees and BNS Group have established a training and conference company called BNS Akadeemia, which expects to achieve a market of one-third in three years.

«While on the one hand the Estonian training services and conference market is very fragmented, the training and conference arm of Aripaev has emerged as the biggest enterprise on the market following the acquisition of Parnu Konverentsid. Competition is intense, but looking at the target group of Postimees and BNS it is possible to successfully enter this market,» Sven Nuutmann, board member of BNS Akadeemia, told BNS on Tuesday.

The new company expects to achieve a market share of one-third in the conference and training sector in three years. Achieving this goal is backed by existing group structures, Nuutmann said.

«In addition we will bring in people from outside Estonia to bring fresh air to the highly competitive market here,» he said.

BNS Akadeemia OU belongs in equal shares to BNS Group OU, owner of the news agency BNS, and Postimees AS, publisher of Postimees. Its board members are Sven Nuutmann and Mart Luik.
