Estonian PM received EUR 48,054 in remuneration last year

Estonian Prime Minister Andrus Ansip was paid 48,054 euros in remuneration during 2012, about 6,000 euros less than in the year before, it appears from payout statistics published by the State Chancellery on Thursday.

Of the prime minister's remuneration 42,822 euros was salary and 5,232 euros holiday pay. The prime minister was paid no extras, allowances or bonuses during the year.

Payments to Ansip in 2011 totaled 48,758 euros, of which salary made up 42,534 euros and holiday pay 6,224 euros.

Payouts to State Secretary Heiki Loot amounted to 43,992 euros last year, of which 30,005 euros was salary and 13,987 euros holiday pay. No extras, allowances or bonuses were paid to Loot during the year.

The director of the office of the primer minister, Kairi Uustulnd, was paid 35,910 euros in remuneration during the year.
