Flash estimate: Estonia's economy contracted 2.5 pct in Q3

A flash estimate published by Statistics Estonia on Monday indicates that the country's gross domestic product (GDP) continued to decline in the third quarter of this year, with GDP down by 2.5 percent compared to the third quarter of 2022.

Estonia's GDP fell 3.2 percent on year in the first quarter of 2023 and 2.9 percent in the second quarter.

More detailed GDP data for the third quarter of 2023 will be published by Statistics Estonia on Nov. 30.
