The Foreign Ministry has been notified about four Estonians who received injuries in the truck attack in Nice last Thursday, Foreign Minister Marina Kaljurand told the evening newscast of the public broadcaster ERR on Saturday.

«All the next of kin have been contacted. Our consul is at present in Nice to help Estonians to deal with the police and hospital and will stay there as long as necessary. But I repeat that some of the injured have not yet been identified and the French police continues this work,» Kaljurand said.

The consul, Kadi Metsandi, who arrived in Nice from Paris on Saturday, said that more than 150 Estonians who were staying the area have been reported to be safe.

«At this point there are no more Estonians missing in Nice - contact had been established with all by tonight,» she said.
