The Royal Air Force will provide fighter jets and personnel to the rotation of the NATO Baltic air policing mission to be performed out of the Amari air base in Estonia from May to August.

The United Kingdom will assume the mission at Amari on Apr. 28 from the Belgian Air Component that has been performing it since Jan. 7, spokespeople for the Estonian Air Force said.

UK will perform the mission using Eurofighter jets.

Belgium performed the mission from the start of January using four F-16 fighter jets.
