Extremism has only a small number of supporters in Estonia, the Estonian Internal Security Service (ISS) says in its freshly-published yearbook.

«The actions of persons who support aggressive ideologies is limited to smaller concerts or marginal demonstrations,» the ISS says.

But ISS adds that last year the institution had to intervene with the activities of extremists. «An example of that is the expulsion of Risto Teinonen who promoted Nazi Germany and National Socialism, and implementing a prohibition on entry against him,» ISS said, adding that Teinonen assembled people with far-right views around him and in 2011 founded MTU La Colonia.

Teinonen continued to publicly promote the ideology also in 2015 and his actions were synchronous with Russia's propaganda which accused Estonia of supporting Nazism, ISS wrote.
