"Theresa Bubbear has been appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Estonia," the Foreign and Commonwealth Office said on Monday.
The present British ambassador to Estonia is Christopher Holtby. Bubbear will take up her appointment in August and Holtby will be transferring to another diplomatic service appointment.
In 2012-2015 Bubbear was the deputy head of mission in Budapest and became the embassy's charge d'affaires in 2015. She has also worked in the British embassies in Finland, Moscow and South Africa. Bubbear joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1985.
Holtby assumed office as the British ambassador to Estonia in January 2012.
