Girl of 14 found dead in Narva

A 14-year-old girl who went missing in the northeast Estonian border city last Friday was found dead on Wednesday.

The body of 14-year-old Darja was found on Friday around noon in a forest in Narva, spokespeople for the East prefecture said.

At present investigators and criminalists are working on site to discover the reason behind the girl's death and other circumstances of the incident.

According to the daily Postimees the body was found in a more remote part of a sporting and recreational area. According to the girl's aunt and uncle they along with Darja's father found the body which had no visible signs of violence. According to unofficial information the body had been dragged.
