The new secretary general of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, is to visit Estonia next week.
Stoltenberg will come to Estonia next week but the exact date of the visit is not yet in place, spokespeople for the Estonian Foreign Ministry confirmed. The program of the visit also is being finalized.
The new NATO chief is scheduled to make a trip to Lithuania as well next week. Stoltenberg and Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite will visit the Karmelava air control center that accommodates the joint control and reporting center of the three Baltic states.
The NATO chief and the Lithuanian head of state will discuss regional security and defense and the situation in Ukraine.
