Yesterday, a concert in support of Ukraine took place on Freedom Square, Tallinn. During the event, non-governmental organisations of Estonia presented a declaration demanding end of the aggression against Ukraine. The declaration was signed by Congress of Ukrainians in Estonia, Estonian Institute of Human Rights, Federation of Estonian Student Unions, Youth Association Open Republic, and Open Estonia Foundation.

As underlined by Youth Association Open Republic leader Jevgeni Krištafovitš, the youth are against aggression and don’t want war.

As also stressed by culture personalities gathered for the concert, they still do hope for a peaceable solution to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. «The days that now follow will be important not for Ukraine alone, but regarding peace in all the world,» underlined Ruslan Trochynskyi, lead singer of Estonian-Ukrainian group Svjata Vatra involved in the concert.
