Forty people were killed in traffic accidents in Estonia in the first eight months of this year, which is significantly less than in the corresponding period in 2012 and 2011.
In January-August 2012 the road death toll was 64, bigger by 24 than this year.
The number of casualties was 55 in the first eight months of 2011.
