H1 profit of SEB's Estonian unit drops to EUR 38.7 mln

The profit of the Estonian unit of the SEB financial group in the first half of 2013 decreased to 38.7 million euros from the year-earlier 41.5 million euros.

In the second quarter of the year operating revenue of SEB Eesti dropped from 33.9 million to 32.4 million euros whereas profit increased from 18.5 to 18.7 million euros compared to the same period in 2012.

Loan loss provisions were reduced by 1.1 million euros. In the same period last year the bank contracted loss provisions by 0.2 million euros.
