On Wednesday morning a stone was thrown at a new electric train of the Estonian commuter train operator Elektriraudtee that smashed a window.

A large stone was hurled into the front window of the train from the Rahumae pedestrian bridge early on Wednesday, the company said in a Facebook post. The window was smashed and the company estimates the damage at 15,000 euros.
The incident put the safety of the driver and thus also the passengers in jeopardy, Elektriraudtee said. The company is going to lodge a complaint with the police.
The first new electric trains Elektriraudtee bought from the Swiss manufacturer Stadler Bussnang hit tracks in Estonia on Monday.
