Sales revenue of Eesti Gaas grows by fourth to EUR 248.6 mln in 2012.

The company sold 4.3 percent more gas than during the previous year, 657.6 million cubic meters in all, it appears from the annual report.

Eesti Gaas will pay a dividend of 7.85 million euros this year.

At the turn of the year the company had 42,400 customers including 40,800 households and 1,600 free market consumers. It connected 177 new customers with its network during the year whose projected annual consumption is up to 16 million cubic meters.

Eesti Gaas invested 10.2 million euros in 2013, including 4.4 million euros in construction and 4.6 million euros in reconstruction and renovation of fixed assets.

The main goals of Eesti Gaas this year are to expand the use of natural gas in small-scale energy production and motor transport and increase sale of electric energy.
