Estonian stocks mostly lose ground in weekly trade

Thursday's tumble sealed the general mood of weekly trade on the Tallinn stock exchange in which Silvano Fashion Group emerged as turnover leader while furniture maker Skano and shipper Tallink Grupp fell more than 7 percent.

The index, OMXT, dropped 1.44 percent Friday to Friday, ending at 801.58 points. With 1,116 trades concluded, the turnover added up to 4.9 million euros.

The quarterly results disclosed by Skano last Friday put the stock under intense selling  pressure. On Tuesday Silvano Fashion Group saw a block trade worth more than a million euros. Strong selling pressure was seen on the market on Thursday and Tallink went ex-dividend on Friday.

Silvano Fashion Group climbed 0.39 percent to 2.59 euros a share in 62 trades with turnover of 1.37 million euros.

Casino operator Olympic Entertainment Group finished 1.71 percent lower at 1.72 euros after 281 trades in which 1.18 million euros' worth of shares changed hands.

Water company Tallinna Vesi came down 0.93 percent to 10.7 euros with 1.06 million euros in turnover from 184 transactions.
