In April Estonian dairy companies' purchases of milk increased by 6.4 percent year-on-year to 58,200 tons and the average purchase price was 3.9 percent higher than the year before at 325.41 euros per ton.

Month on month, the purchase of milk declined by 1.7 percent and the purchase price came down 1.3 percent, data released by Statistics Estonia on Thursday show.
