Estonia’s new digital base map now ready

Land Board presents new version of digital base map of Estonia. For the first time, Estonia’s territory is covered with contour lines and peaks, gained by processing land Board airborne laser scanning data. The design is renewed as well: the colours being milder and relief shading employed.

Estonia’s base map is the most detailed map covering the entire territory of the country, recreated yearly in its entirety, and used as basic map by the Estonian public sector. Estonia’s base map is viewable in land Board server and via WMS services.
