Estonian stock market week: Tallinna Vesi climbs to three-year high

Water company Tallinna Vesi hit its highest level in three years on the Tallinn stock exchange in the outgoing week as shares otherwise lost ground across the board.

The index, OMXT, lost 2.26 percent of its value Friday to Friday to finish at 813.43 and total turnover from 1,311 trades was 3.5 million euros.

"The week was remarkable in that Tallinna Vesi climbed to a three-year high and Silvano fell to its lowest level for this year," Andres Suimets, chief of trading at Swedbank Markets, told BNS.

Gaming organizer Olympic Entertainment Group declined 1.01 percent to 1.97 euros in 412 transactions with turnover of 1.3 million euros.

Shipper Tallink Grupp fell 2.18 percent to 0.988 euros with 177 trades transacted and a turnover of 493,747 euros.

Builder Merko Ehitus eased 0.97 percent to 7.11 euros in 73 transactions that produced turnover of 415,251 euros.
