Yesterday, around noon, ice run hit the Sindi dam with massive water rushing down the dyke. As seen on Facebook images, the dam is basically underwater – the nearby fish farming buildings flooded as well.

According to Sindi town government press representative Viktor Kaarneem, who shared his pictures with Pärnu Postimees, he never got to the dam as the road was impassable due to water. Also, the local song festival grounds are said to be flooded.
