The Estonian electronic communication services provider and broadcast network operator Levira has built a combined uplink and production vehicle that is unique in the Baltic states.

"As a rule, it takes two different vehicles – one for production and another one for live transmission. We have developed a much more convenient and cost efficient solution for our clients – Levira's new OB-SNG unit fulfils both of these functions," head of Levira's TV production department Kulno Kägu said.

Levira's renewed production truck supports both SD and HD formats and it can work with up to six HDTV cameras. The station is equipped with graphics and slow-motion equipment and its SNG uplink fully complies with all EBU requirements. This ensures excellent technical conditions for recording sports competitions, various concerts, festivals, conferences or any other events, the company said.

Levira is provider of infrastructure services to the media, IT and telecom industries. It is the main TV and radio broadcast transmission service provider in Estonia, operates one of the country's largest data centers and provides public and private cloud services under the name Levira Cloud.
