Two ice tracks are open for traffic on Wednesday: the Haapsalu-Noarootsi and the Rohukula-Vormsi ice tracks.

The Haaspsalu-Noarootsi  ice track goes from the end of Suur-Mere Street in Haapsalu to Osterby Port in Noarootsi; the length of the ice track is about 3.9 kilometers and it is open for traffic for vehicles of  up to 2.5 tons between 7 a.m and 5.15 p.m.

The 9.6 kilometer ice track between Rohukula and Vormsi with access points at the Rohukula and Sviby Ports is open for vehicles of up to 2.5 tons actual mass between 7.15  a.m. and 5.30 p.m.

The ice track can only be crossed during daylight hours and in case of changing weather and ice conditions the track can be closed. The recommended speed on the ice track is up to 25 kph  or 40-70 kmp. The speed of 25 to 40 kph causes resonance in the ice and could break it.

The vehicles going on the ice track can do so with at least a two-minute interval, and the minimal distance between the vehicles must be at least 250 meters.

It is not allowed to come to stop, to speed, to drive in a snowstorm, in fog and in the dark time, and  passing and two way traffic on the same lane are prohibited. It is not allowed to drive off the marked track. Driving on the ice track the safety belts must be unfastened and the doors of the vehicle must be easily opened.
