Bus driver's health fails while at wheel

Due to health failure suffered by driver, a passenger bus drove off the road at Kreutzwaldi and Gonsiori Streets intersection, Tallinn, at about 6:30 am yesterday. The sudden maneuver made three cars collide, mediates ERR news portal. Nobody was hurt in the accident, the bus driver was hospitalized. 

A reader of Postimees said a lane of the street was closed due to the accident. People exited the buses caught in the jam and went to work by foot.  

«The bus driver engaged in the Gonsiori St accident had passed medical check as prescribed by rules. He has no restrictions regarding work as bus driver,» said municipal bus company TLT press representative Urmas Tooming. «After the incident, the bus driver will see occupational health doctor for emergency examination and the doctor will decide if he may return to work.»
