Tonight, the famed Witches' Well begun to boil in Nabala–Tuhala nature reserve.

The last time the phenomenon occurred was spring on 2013. The unique karstic feature may last from a day to three weeks.

«It keeps on boiling till the springtime high water lasts, or till the night frosts up and interfere. At amount of water of five thousand litres per second in Tuhala River, pressure is created in the subterranean river and the well begins to boil,» said Tuhala Nature Centre head Ants Talioja. He would underline this is not an artesian well.

The well «boils out» up to a hundred litres per second.
