People allowed to return to Tallinn's main courthouse after bomb threat

The Liivalaia courthouse in Tallinn was evacuated following a bomb threat on Monday afternoon and people were allowed back into the buding after a bomb squad had given the all-clear.

Police were notified of the bomb threat at 2:30 p.m., spokespeople for the North prefecture of the Police and Border Guard Board told BNS.

Bomb experts who examined the building found no explosive device. People were allowed to return to their workplaces at 3:15 p.m.

Police have opened a criminal investigation based on the article of the Penal Code dealing with aggravated breach of public order. Police are working to establish the identity of the person who made the bomb threat.
