Former head of ISS to fight against Tallinn's «taxi mafia»

Tallinn has hired Juri Pihl, former head of the Internal Security Service and interior minister, who is to fight against the capital city's so-called taxi mafia, the Pealtnagija (Eyewitness) investigative journalism broadcast of public broadcaster ERR reports.

According to Pealtnagija Pihl is to become a temporary advisor to Tallinn Deputy Mayor Taavi Aas performing the duties of mayor and his sole task will be to solve the problem with the so-called taxi mafia.

Pihl is to start work in January.
