The Estonian embassy in London moved to a new, freshly renovated building and as of Monday the embassy is welcoming visitors at 44 Queen's Gate Terrace.

According to ambassador Lauri Bambus one of the main reasons for moving the embassy is the need to offer better consular services to Estonian citizens living and working in the United Kingdom, spokespeople for the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. «The bigger rooms of the new building will make receiving visitors much more comfortable. In addition, these rooms will enable an additional consul to work there if necessary for the servicing of people to be even faster and smoother,» Bambus said.

According to the ambassador information regarding the new location of the embassy is written on the information board in front of the embassy and all contact information can also be found on the embassy's home page.

«The ceremonial opening of the new embassy building will take place in the fall of 2015,» Bambus said.
