Premier Restaurants, operator of McDonald's restaurants in Estonia, is planning to invest more than 5 million euros in Estonia by the end of 2017 and is actively working on plans to open one more restaurant in Estonia.

«McDonald's is about to make big investments already this year in renovating the Sole and Rocca al Mare McDonald's restaurants,» Vladimir Janevski, manager of Premier Restaurants Latvia, told BNS.

Janevski said the company was actively searching for a possibility to open one more restaurant in the coming few years. He said that since not everything has been decided yet he cannot disclose the potential location.

Premier Restaurants invested 7.5 million euros in opening new restaurants, renovating existing ones, opening the first McCafes and introducing other changes in the McDonald's chain in Estonia during the past seven years.

Altogether 8.1 million people visited McDonald's outlets in Estonia last year.
