Smartlynx to launch Tallinn-Dubai charter line

Charter airline Smartlynx is to launch on Dec. 27 in cooperation with travel agencies Teztour and Novatours the airline's longest direct flight from Tallinn to Dubai.

Charter flights to Dubai will depart on Saturdays until the middle of February 2015.

The direct flight from Tallinn to Dubai World Central Airport will last for six hours and 45 minutes and cover slightly more than 2,600 nautical miles. Flights will take place on an Airbus 320, the company said.

Smartlynx Airlines is an airline based in Riga, Latvia. It specializes in wet lease services of its A320-200 fleet and provides full charter operation for its home markets of Latvia and Estonia, predominantly in the leisure market.
