Nordecon to build new dairy farm worth EUR 9 mln for Vaatsa Agro

Nordecon Betoon, subsidiary of the listed Estonian construction company Nordecon, and Vaatsa Agro, a holding of Trigon Dairy Farming, have entered into a contract for services to set up a dairy farm complex in Vaatsa municipality in Central Estonia.

The construction contract is worth about nine million euros, excluding VAT.

According to the contract a shed complex with accompanying structures and an infrastructure to keep 2,200 heads of dairy cattle will be built, Nordecon told the stock exchange.

The construction of the shed complex will be financed by SEB Pank.

The construction is to begin in September 2013 and finish in next August.

Nordecon  operates in Estonia, Ukraine and Finland. The consolidated revenue of the group  totaled 159.4 million euros last year and the company employs 700 people.
