The office of the Estonian Center Party on Wednesday presented to the committee for supervision over party finance a supplementary report according to which it has paid off its entire election-related debt.

According to a report submitted by the largest opposition party to the commission for supervision over the financing of political parties at the end of June it still had liabilities in the amount of 58,000 euros dating from past elections. As of Wednesday the entire debt had been paid off, spokespeople for the party told BNS.
In December 2012 the Center Party paid to Danske Bank the final payoff sum of a five year-loan. Also at the end of 2012 Center completed the payoff of its obligation before the construction company AS Raga, the former Facio Ehitus.
