Fines for fishing violations to rise.

The new fishery act will increase maximum fines to companies for fishing violations tenfold from 3,200 euros to 32,000. The bill covering letter explains that the existing rates do not suffice to modify the behavior of  enterprises, since profit from violations could be much higher. The fine level for private individuals is 1,200 euros and would not change.
