Criminal robs jewelry store in downtown Tallinn

An armed criminal who has not been caught yet robbed a jewelry store in downtown Tallinn on Tuesday.

The man wearing a motorbike helmet to cover up his face entered a jewelry store at the Viru Keskus shopping center at 12:30 p.m., threatened the people inside with a weapon-like object and stole precious jewelry, spokespeople for the police told BNS.

No one was harmed in the course of the robbery. Initial information is that the man spoke Russian.

The police are actively working on solving the crime, the spokespeople said.
