Latvian firefighters help put out blaze in Estonia

Latvian firefighters on Friday gave a helping hand to Estonian colleagues to put out a fire in the southern town of Valga.

The emergency center was notified about the fire shortly after 11 p.m. It turned out that the first floor of a two-story house in Valga's Kuperjanovi street was burning.

The duty officer of the Rescue Board said that Latvian firefighters with their tank vehicle took part in the firefighting effort. The fire was put out by 1:42 a.m. No injuries have been reported.
