Enterprise Estonia on Monday launched a publicity campaign in Finland inviting residents of the northern neighbor to come to this country for rest and relaxation.

The cost of the campaign running until June 20 and funded by Enterprise Estonia using finance from the European Regional Development Fund is 144,000 euros, a spokeswoman for the business support agency said.

The focus of this year's campaign is on health vacations and it targets first of all families and younger holidaymakers.

The second phase of the campaign to be conducted in the fall will center on middle-aged and elderly holidaymakers who appreciate a healthy vacation.

Finland is the top target market of the Estonian tourism sector. In 2012 Finnish tourists accounted for 44.3 percent of all overnight stays.
