Price advance at a three-year low.

Statistics Estonia reports that annual price advance came to 3.1 percent in April making for the lowest hike rate in 32 months. Services became 4.9 percent more expensive year over year while prices of goods only climbed 2.1 percent. Price advance was fastest in utility costs, the price of electricity went up 28 percent, and food that was 40 percent more expensive than in April of last year. Motor fuels were 6.6 percent cheaper in April y-o-y and experts forecast the trend to continue as the world market oil price is estimated to remain modest for some time. The Estonian Institute of Economic Research also reported that consumer security is up slightly as a little more than a quarter of people questioned said they believe their financial situation will have improved in 12 months' time while 49 percent of people forecast their situation will not change.
