Again, the programme Flavours of Estonia has picked the Top 50 eating places, out of about 1,300. The list is published in alphabetical order; precise ranking comes in the fall, judged by experts.

Amongst this year’s Top 50, we find both previous winner, the Pädaste restaurant Alexander, and the rest of last year’s leading ten: Tchaikovsky, OKO, Chedi, Põhjaka, Leib, Moon, Neh,  Bordoo, and Ribe.

«Four top doers are back in the list, this year, with eight newcomers added. Some of those – such as Salt, Sesoon and Kolm Sibulat – have only been open for a short while, immediately securing themselves such popularity that vacant tables are quite hard to find,» said the Aivar Hanson, the engine-in-chief of the Flavours of Estonia programme. All four comeback restaurants and the eight newcomers represent classical foods.

The list is hereby presented in alphabetical order. In the autumn, restaurant employees and food journalists, with food bloggers from Estonia and abroad, will compile the chart of rankings.
