The new railway link Rail Baltic could be built in its entirety by Czech companies, head of the Czech government Petr Necas said here on Thursday commenting on economic cooperation opportunities.

"We are definitely interested in the progress of the Rail Baltic project. Our companies could cover the whole project, build everything that is needed to put the railway into service starting from tracks and ending with locomotives and cars," Necas said at the joint press conference with Estonian Prime Minister Andrus Ansip in answer to a question from BNS.

Next to transport and transport infrastructure the Czech prime minister named information technology including development of e-government, energy and energy infrastructure and green environmental technologies as fields with potential for cooperation in which the Czech Republic could offer both goods and services.

Necas is accompanied by a 17-member business delegation that is taking part in a business seminar at the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
