EG Võrguteenus, the network services provider of Estonia's natural gas company Eesti Gaas, will raise its network charges by 66 percent, to 0.0146 euros per cubic meter, from May 1.

The company has at present two tariffs for the distribution service but will apply a uniform tariff beginning from May. As a result, small consumers will have to pay 85 percent less for the distribution service whereas the cost for large consumers will rise 38 percent.
