The Tallinn-based Harju regional court on Friday ruled in favor of the extradition to Germany of a Lithuanian man suspected by German law enforcement authorities of multiple counts of fraud.

According to the statement of charges from Germany, the Lithuanian citizen born in 1970, identified by his first name as Tomas, is suspected of having participated in three fraud cases in Germany committed by a group of persons.

Estonian law enforcement authorities detained the man in Narva on Feb. 5 on the base of an European arrest warrant.
