Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves appointed Miko Haljas ambassador to Lebanon.

The Estonian ambassador to Lebanon resides in Ankara, Turkey, it stands on the web site or the president.

Miko Haljas has worked in the Foreign Ministry since 1995. In the years 2006-2010 Haljas was ambassador to Hungary, Croatia  and Slovenia, residing in Budapest.  He has also worked in the post  director general of the Foreign Ministry international organizations and security policy department.

Since 2012 Haljas is the Estonian ambassador to Turkey and to Azerbaijan.
